Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP / GRP)

Introduction

Pultruded Fiber Reinforced Polymer or FRP/GRP is a pultruded composite material consisting of reinforcing fiber thermosetting resin and other materials such as fillers and pigments. Glassfiber is generally used as a reinforcing material and polyester resin are used as bending agent.

Pultruded composite products are increased being used in variety of applications. Glass fiber reinforced polymer (GRP) materials are rapidly growing in demand and FRP/GRP pultrusions are leading the way.

The manufacturing of Pultruded profiles is the most efficient method of forming composite material with consistent high quality and low scrap.
